“Moron Of The Week” Inductee Bryan Fischer: HIV Does Not Cause AIDS

How dare he saying AIDS is caused by a “Compulsive Homosexual Behaviour”? How full of shit someone has to be to think such a thing? How much hatred is someone has to be to spill such moronic ideas on Radio?

And how bias this Dr. Peter Duesberg really is with his bigoted homophobic beliefs? This is to me like those crazy “Holocaust Deniers”. This is just as insulting. It’s insulting to the memory & dignity of all the victims of this epidemic, which is not exclusively a disease of the Gay Community.

It’s for people like them that I regret there’s no hell for them to burn in.

USA: Right Wing Compares Sodomy Repeal With Bestiality In The Military

The Advocate reports:

The U.S. Senate Thursday approved a defense spending bill that repeals an archaic antisodomy law applying to members of the military — something welcomed by gay rights advocates and alarming to right-wing groups, which are raising the specter of bestiality. The bill repeals Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which bars troops from engaging in consensual sodomy, with offenders tried before a court-martial. LGBT activists have long campaigned for this provision to be removed from the code, pointing out that it has remained a part of military law years after the Supreme Court’s 2003 Lawrence v. Texas decision struck down sodomy laws that apply to civilians.Servicemembers Legal Defense Network officials had hailed the repeal when it was approved by the Senate Armed Services Committee and did so again upon approval by the full Senate, noting that it has been recommended not only by advocacy groups but by legal scholars. The House version of the bill does not contain the repeal provision, so it is one of the things that must be reconciled between the two chambers before the bill goes to President Obama for his signature. Other differences to be worked out address whether same-sex weddings can be performed on military bases. The repeal apparently scared many antigay groups, which are trying to scare their supporters even more. An article on the ultraconservative website CNSNews.com, headlined “Senate Approves Bill that Legalizes Sodomy and Bestiality in U.S. Military,” notes that Article 125 defines sodomy as “unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal.” As conservative leaders do allow that bestiality could still be prosecuted as an offense against good military order and discipline, it’s clear they’re using it as an attention-getter and that their true concern lies elsewhere — as evidenced by this quote from Family Research Council president Tony Perkins:“It’s all about using the military to advance this administration’s radical social agenda,” Perkins told CNSNews.com. “Not only did they overturn don’t ask, don’t tell, but they had another problem, and that is, under military law sodomy is illegal, just as adultery is illegal, so they had to remove that prohibition against sodomy.”

NOM’s Brian Brown Plays The Victim Card

The Advocate reports:

The president of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) wants the followers of his organization to believe that at the heart of marriage equality is a desire to oppress religious people. In his weekly post on the NOM blog, Brian Brown writes that the fight for same-sex marriage is far devious than it seems:“The mask of tolerance has been cast aside. We are looking into the face of a movement which wants, in the name of equality, to take away your rights and the rights of millions of decent, loving, law-abiding Americans who ‘cling’ — yes, I’m not afraid to call it that! — to God, common sense, and the best of America’s long traditions of respect for Judeo-Christian values.”While the fight is certain to be a fierce one, Brown reassures his readers that the intolerance of gay people is combatable, that those in favor of marriage equality “can only win if they can get us to accept and internalize the second-class status they propose for us. To accept our own marginalization, to be quiet, to stand down and keep our heads down. To live in fear, instead of acting, with courage, out of hope.”How? With the help of “fearless leaders” like Michele Bachmann who know “God’s truth about marriage” and will not give in to the intimidation tactics presented by the gay community. Finally, having attempted to instill fear in his supporters, Brown ends his message of hope with a request for money: “Can you act today to defend marriage for your children and grandchildren? Whether you can give $20 or $200 — or perhaps a monthly donation of just $10 — know that you are making a difference, and your voice will be heard.”Read the full post here.

Rabbi Yahuda Levine: Gay Marriage Caused The Earthquake

You knew it. I knew it. Some religious batshit was about to come little after the earthquake hit the US East Coast (which by the way, wasn’t even a big deal. It was an 6.0 of magnitude! Sorry if I don’t care much about the National Cathedral).

So, as always, bigoted assholes end up blaming the gays. Who wouldn’t?

More Lies From Matt Barber & The AFA

Joe.My.God. reports:

The above headline from the American Family Association is a completely outrageous lie currently being spread all over the Christianist blogosphere by Liberty Counsel liar-in-chief Matt Barber. Barber recently attended a conference on pedophilia which was organized by a tiny bizarre sect of weirdos called B4U-ACT. And since those freak show conference attendees mentionedthe APA guidelines on mental illness (according to Barber and the AFA), that means the APA is totally thinking about removing pedophilia from the list. Just like they were forced to do with homosexuality. In reality, of course, no such action is planned or will ever fucking happen in ten million years. Matt Barber, the American Family Association and their vile ilk scarcely even pretend to be telling the truth these days. They know very well that their audience is uninterested in anything that doesn’t viciously vilify and demonize gay people.

How come bigots like them can say such horrible lies and get away with it? And when is gonna be the end of this disgusting comparisons between a sexual orientation (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual), sexual identity (transgender) and real perversions (pederasty)?

Bachmann-Affiliated Preacher/Radio Host Sues Rachel Maddow & MSNBC

Joe.My.God. reports:

Right wing radio host and preacher Bradlee Dean has filed suit against Rachel Maddow and MSNBC for a report claiming that Dean had called for the execution of homosexuals. According to the suit, Dean did not and does not endorse executing gay people. Dean and his band have performed at fundraisers for Rep. Michele Bachmann and she has praised his ministry. From a press releaseissued by the conservative group, Freedom Watch:

Tomorrow, You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International, Inc., a foundation dedicated to restoring morality and values in the nation’s youth, will sue MSNBC, Rachel Maddow and others who defamed its founder, Bradlee Dean. A press conference will be held to announce the suit at the above location at 11 am on July 27. Bradlee Dean and his attorney will speak at the press conference. Bradlee Dean, a renowned hard metal rocker who came to Christ after suffering a hard life as a young boy, has dedicated his life to this mission, a mission that has been under attack by liberal media since its inception. In the course of his ministry, Dean once made a statement on radio criticizing his fellow Christians for not taking a stronger stand about the gay rights lobby promoting homosexuality in the schools. He made a strong reference to Muslims taking the issue more seriously in the context of Shariah law, but did not condone their practices. It was Bradlee’s intent to focus attention on the issue, not to advocate harm to anyone.
Here’s the Bradlee Dean quote in question:
“Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America. This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.”
[Above] are audio clips of the full quotes in context. In the second clip, Dean calls for the imprisonment of gay people and praises a then-pending Rwanda law that would imprison gay people for life.

Today In Quisling Word Salad: Chris Barron
Joe.My.God. reports:

“The attacks on Michele Bachmann and her family by the gay left have absolutely nothing to do with gay rights. In fact, these attacks have little to do with Congresswoman Bachmann or what her or her husband believes. The truth is that they are nothing more than part and parcel of an orchestrated effort by the left to destroy the Tea Party. For two years now, the left, along with their enablers in the main stream media, have attempted to smear the Tea Party as racist, sexist, xenophobic and homophobic. These attacks on Congresswoman Bachmann are just the latest front in the left’s unending war against the Tea Party.” - GOProud’s head kapo Chris Barron, writing on his personal blog.Everybody got that? We’re not really attacking the Bachmanns for their stated positions that “gays are part of Satan” and “barbarians” who need to be criminalized, imprisoned, and exported. No, we’re really going after the Tea Party, who has been UNFAIRLY branded as homophobic.
VERY FUCKING RELATED: From the spokesman for theunfairly “smeared as homophobic” Tea Party Nation.
I find all this activity to legalize “gay marriage” and to introduce a gay agenda into the curriculums in the nation’s schools a distinct threat to the fabric of a society based on the undisputed normality of heterosexuality. I am pretty sure the “straight” citizens of Boston and elsewhere find it offensive to host a gay parade. I believe the greater society has a right to protect itself, its children and its military forces against these legislative intrusions, mandates and coercions to force acceptance upon it. If it continues, it will become one more factor in the destruction of America, a signal that its moral foundations continue to be eroded.

Looks like the latest “Moron Of The Week” inductee hasn’t learnt (or just doesn’t want to realize) that the Bachmanns don’t anything to do with us (except maybe after we went through their Clinic first) and that the unofficial description of the Teabaggers is: racist, heatless, homophobic, illiterate, fat, white trash.

CNN Host Slams GOProud Chris Barron Over Dodging Questions About Bachmann

OMG… How dare he minimize the importance and relevance of Bachmann’s Clinic and the Ex-Gay thing? Does he really think that such homophobic people are gonna go and sit down with him to talk about fiscal issues? And is he (and she) gonna ignore the fucking pink elephant in the room?

Fox News: Gays “Indoctrinating” Your Kids

The Advocate reports:

While Fox News has largely ignored recent debates over marriage equality, it hasn’t suddenly become gay-friendly — it’s merely focusing on a new target, what it calls “indoctrination” of children with positive information about LGBT people, according to an analysis by Equality Matters. In a Thursday post on the media watchdog group’s blog, Carlos Maza writes, “Over the past few months, Fox has developed a specific interest in promoting the myth that gays and lesbians are attempting to turn kids gay by indoctrinating them into the ‘homosexual lifestyle.’”He cites Fox’s reaction to California legislation that would require public schools to teach students about the contributions of LGBT people, with Fox commentators calling the move a “shocking lesson plan” that would bring “propaganda” into the classroom. Fox talking heads, he notes, have also objected to a gender diversity lesson presented at one California school and gay-inclusive messages in advertising and entertainment. “In April, the network even invited the American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer to discuss whether Glee was a form of ‘product placement’ for homosexuality,” Maza writes. This is all a rather stealthy form of gay bashing, he says. “By framing the debate in terms of concern about ‘indoctrination’ and parental rights, Fox is attempting to disguise its deep anti-LGBT bias as something more palatable to the general public,” he writes. “In reality, Fox’s ‘indoctrination’ focus feeds directly into the campaigns of some of the country’s most prominent and vile anti-LGBT groups, including Focus on the Family, the Traditional Values Coalition, the Family Research Council, and the American Family Association.”
