Rosie O’Donnell To David Letterman: You Appear To Be Anti-Gay
The Advocate reports:

Rosie O’Donnell has fired back at fellow comedian-talk show host David Letterman’s jokes about her engagement, commenting on his recent sex scandal and suggesting he might be antigay.Last Tuesday night, following the announcement of O’Donnell’s engagement to Michelle Rounds, Letterman joked, “The woman she is marrying, her fiancee, was driving … and her car broke down. And guess what happened? Rosie pulls up right behind her in her tow truck.”Friday night on OWN’s The Rosie Show, O’Donnell wondered what prompted Letterman to resort to making such a stereotypical crack. “Why is that, Dave?” she asks. “Why? I don’t remember making fun of you when you had sex with all your interns, Dave. I didn’t do that. I didn’t make fun of your rampant, throbbing heterosexuality, did I Dave?”O’Donnell then riffed on a familiar Letterman trademark—his top ten list—when she gave her top five reasons why she refuses to appear on his show. Included among them are:“Dave, when you had that heart surgery, you shouldn’t have told the doctors to take out the whole thing” and “Not only do you appear to be antigay, you’re anti-tow trucker.”

Joe.My.God. reports:

Last night David Letterman made some cracks about Michele Bachmann which included jabs at Ladybird: “And if you’re a homosexual, her husband will take care of ya. He’s got a thing, a camp or a clinic or something. And if you’re a homosexual and you feel you’re in the need of some special treatment or counseling, he’ll take care of you.” Towleroadreports that Letterman’s bit about Mr. Bachmann have been deleted from the web archive of the show. YouTube’s still got it, for now.

Adele -  ”Someone Like You” Live On Letterman

Ok, yes, I already posted the “Song Of The Day”, and this very song already featured as the Song Of The Day last week, but I couldn’t help posting this performance. It’s just magnificent. With a voice like that, you only thing you need is a piano.

David Letterman - Cher’s Romances

Cher And David Letterman Discuss
Her Son Chaz Bono’s Transition

Joe.My.God. reports:

They both stumbled repeatedly over their pronouns, but last night Cher and David Letterman had a frank discussion about Chaz’s transition and what the difference is between being gay and being transgender. Cher’s loving support is amply evident and Letterman’s questions and comments show that perhaps he learned something after being widely criticized for an anti-trans skit early this year. Let’s hope the language police aren’t too hard on either of them for their his/her missteps. Context, and all that. The bit about Chaz begins at 12:30 in the first clip and continues through the second. (Note that these clips are not from CBS and may disappear from YouTube.)
