Now, this seems like a great film to watch. And I’m definitely gonna watch it knowing Ewan McGregor is on it.

Subtitle: “A son’s love letter to his gay father.” Based on the filmmaker’s real life story.

I Love You Phillip Morris - U.S. Red Band Trailer

Finally!

Well, I already watched it. That’s one of the advantages of being in Canada, and not being in the US. (Plus Public HealthCare, Plus Gay Marriage, Plus Crazy-Right Wingers-Free, Plus Tea Party Members-Free…)

The Thing is that I loved it! You gotta watch it once is release in the US. I’ve never been so caught by a gay film like with this one. And I can’t get enough of Ewan McGregor!

Here’s an interview by Elizabeth Day, from the The Observer, to one of the most famous inmates in the USA: Steven Russell.

His popularity began to increase even more with the production of the film "I Love You Morris" last year, starring mainstream actors Jim Carrey (Russell) and Ewan McGregor (Morris).

You’ll find interesting this case, and you’ll understand even better when you get to watch the movie.

"I Love You Phillip Morris"

My favorite film of Jim Carrey so far.

It’s creepy to know what people are willing to do in the name of love. Like eating mango, it could end up in a delicious experience or in a complete mess.

it also portrays what I always thought about Texas, people there are just different. I don’t really know to whom am I supposed to give more credit, to Steven Russell or the crapy criminal justice system of Texas? Either way, people from there should be banned from any kind of position that implies power. But that’s just my opinion.

Anyway, this film is totally worth it. It’s funny & romantic, like just Jim Carrey can do.

NOTE: Not suitable for bigot-christians.
