WISCONSIN: Yet Another Faked Homocon “Hate Crime”, GOProud Stood By It
Joe.My.God. reports:

Last week the wingnut blogosphere exploded on the claims of a gay Wisconsin GOP campaign worker who claimed that he’d been brutally beaten for being a gay conservative.  From the right wing Daily Caller:
Kyle Wood, a full-time volunteer working for GOP House candidate Chad Lee, was hospitalized for injuries suffered during what he said was an assault at his home.  Wood told The Daily Caller that vandalism preceding the assault, along with his attacker’s statements during the incident, suggested his sexual orientation and his politics each played a role. “I was getting ready for work and there was a knock at the door,” Wood emailed The Daily Caller late Wednesday. “I opened it, and a guy wrapped a ligature around my neck, slammed my head into the doorway, and smashed my face into a mirror, telling me ‘You should have kept your [f*******] mouth shut.’”“He then kidney-punched me, while at the same time saying I was ‘warned,’ and continued to beat me,” he added. Wood said his attacker’s reference to a warning likely pointed to graffiti he found painted on his car last week. The vandalism included the phrases “house trained republican faggot,” “traitor,” and “ur like a jew 4 hitler.” Those slurs, he explained, were references to him being a gay Republican working to help Lee, a straight GOP candidate, defeat the openly gay Democrat Mark Pocan.  After he discovered the graffiti, Wood wrote an open letter on Facebook to the unknown vandal. “If you understand either freedom or me at all,” he wrote, “you would that this will only make me work harder. … You can think whatever you like about me, but I will not be bullied into voting for a gay man simply because I am gay.”
There were so many holes in Wood’s story, not the least of which were the “injuries” that were clearly inconsistent with his claims, that most LGBT news sites, including this one, did not report the story.  My “silence” on the “attack” spurred GOProud president Jimmy LaSalvia to taunt me on Twitter, ultimately telling me to “rot in hell” for my disbelief.

Today came the inevitable truth.
Kyle Wood, a campaign worker for the Republican congressional candidate Chad Lee, today recanted his statements about being assaulted and choked at his home on Oct. 24, according to Madison police. The department updated its incident report late Monday afternoon after Wood met with detectives. Captain Joe Balles, commander of the South District, confirms that Wood recanted his allegations of the beating. Although he would not go into detail about the case, Balles said, “I updated that press release because I felt it was imperative we get something out there because of the politically charged background this was happening in.” He said that the department will do its “due diligence” and discuss with the district attorney’s office whether any charges will be filed against Wood. ”We’re in the victims business,” he says. “We really need victims to come forward. We don’t take matters like this lightly.”Earlier Monday afternoon, a spokesman for Rep. Mark Pocan and an attorney representing his partner, Philip Frank, said they were considering suing for libel over claims that Frank threatened Wood.Pocan is running against Lee for the 2nd Congressional District seat being vacated by Tammy Baldwin, who is running for U.S. Senate.
This latest bit of outrageous homocon fakery makes claims of being pushed off a bike or having a brick thrown through a window pale in repulsive comparison.  THIS time, the husband of a U.S. House candidate was smeared. Kyle Wood will surely get what is coming to him. But the worst part of his despicable crime is that now our enemies have yet another reason to suspect all future anti-gay violence.

The problem is not being a gay conservative. The problem is being a liar and hypocrite.

Moron Of The Week: Victoria Jackson
Well, the formr SNL star has been saying shit for a long time now. But this week at the RNC, she just went even moronic (via The Huffington Post):

Reacting to the controversy surrounding Rep. Todd Akin’s controversial comments regarding rape and abortion, former “Saturday Night Live” star and conservative activist Victoria Jackson said on Wednesday that if she were raped she would have the baby because it “would be a blessing,” noting that the baby “has its own DNA” and is “not the father’s DNA.”And responding to a HuffPost Gay Voices blog post from a former friend who said he ended their friendship because of her views on homosexuality, Jackson said she doesn’t “think people should identify themselves by their sexual life.”"The Todd Akin thing was so blown out of proportion — it’s a joke," Jackson said at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., when interviewed for mySiriusXM OutQ radio program. “How many times do people get pregnant from rape? It’s point zero zero one percent. It’s a joke. I read lots of articles. I know people, because I’m 53. I’ve know a lot of people, and I’ve actually never known anyone who got pregnant from being raped.”"And guess what?" she continued. "If I got raped, I would have the baby. And if I didn’t want to keep it because I had these [mocking tone] horrible nightmares, I would adopt it out. But I think that God can turn a bad thing into a good thing. And that, if I got raped and a beautiful baby who was innocent was born out of it, that would be a blessing. The DNA of a baby is individual. It’s not the mother’s DNA. It’s not the father’s DNA. And that’s why I believe abortion is murder, because it’s not the woman’s body. It has it’s own DNA. If there’s a boy baby inside of me, he has a penis. That’s not my body."In response to Gay Voices blogger Dan Steadman’s post, in which he wrote about ending his friendships with both Jackson and Kirk Cameron because of their views on homosexuality, Jackson discussed her gay friends."I didn’t see [the post] but I love my gay friends," she said. "My best friends who are gay, I’ve actually never seen them with a boyfriend. It’s like — we’ve never talked about sex. I don’t think people should identify themselves by their sexual life. My identity is in Christ. Some people’s identity is in what country they come from. But I don’t think people should make their identity about their sex life. That should be private. Why are they in the middle of the street in a parade? Why don’t they just have sex in their bedroom alone?"

Well, welcome she is to this exclusive list.

Patrick “Felch Stuff” Wooden: Gay Men Shove Gerbils And Cell Phones Up Their Asses

Joe Jervis has, very kindly, provided us a phone number to reach Woonden out to ask him all about it: (US) 919-829-6160.

It amuses me how much time he, and his BFF Peter LaBarbera, must spend on the web searching for this kind of extreme (and rare) fetishes. They know someone who’s done it? Yeah, sure.

“Moron Of The Week" Inductee Mitt "Magic Underpants" Romney’s Spox Denies Gay Pride Flyer

Joe.My.God. reports:

"I don’t know where those pink flyers came from. I was the communications director on the 2002 campaign. I don’t know who distributed them. I never saw them and I was the communications director. I never saw them and I never approved them. I’m not quite sure where they came from." - Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom on the above flyer, which includes the tagline: “Paid for by the Romney For Governor Committee. Romney was questioned about the flyer during yesterday’s GOP debate.

"Moron Of The Week" Inductee Bryan Fischer: HIV Does Not Cause AIDS

How dare he saying AIDS is caused by a “Compulsive Homosexual Behaviour”? How full of shit someone has to be to think such a thing? How much hatred is someone has to be to spill such moronic ideas on Radio?

And how bias this Dr. Peter Duesberg really is with his bigoted homophobic beliefs? This is to me like those crazy “Holocaust Deniers”. This is just as insulting. It’s insulting to the memory & dignity of all the victims of this epidemic, which is not exclusively a disease of the Gay Community.

It’s for people like them that I regret there’s no hell for them to burn in.

HRC Slams NOM’s Financials
Joe.My.God. reports:

"This is extremely unusual – that practically the entire budget of a $9 million national organization is funded by five mysterious individuals or entities. We can only conclude that NOM’s claim to being a grassroots organization representing thousands is phony. Tax returns don’t lie. NOM speaks for a few wealthy anti-LGBT donors and does not speak for the majority of Americans who support marriage equality." - HRC head Joe Solmonese. Yesterday we learned that the vast majority of NOM’s millions come from just a handful of undisclosed sources.RELATED: Not a peep from NOM regarding media inquiries into their funding sources. Nor have they addressed the fact that Brian Brownshirt was busted attending a mega-wealthy fundraiser for serial adulterer Newt Gingrich, who, not by coincidence, is now a Catholic.

Rick “Frothy Mix” Santorum Lies At Hate Convention

Joe.My.God. reports:

Former Sen. Rick Santorum today told the Values Voter Summit audience that the president has ordered military clergy to perform same-sex marriages. Zack Ford provides the actual directive at Think Progress:

  • A military chaplain may participate in or officiate any private ceremony, whether on or off a military installation, provided that the ceremony is not prohibited by applicable state and local law. Further, a chaplain is not required to participate in or officiate a private ceremony if doing so would be in variance with the tenets of his or her religion or personal beliefs. Finally, a military chaplain’s participation in a private ceremony does not constitute an endorsement of the ceremony by DoD.
