“Moron Of The Week” Inductees Michele & Marcus Bachmann Dispute Kinsey Report
Ok, you gotta watch this clip first so you can get what I’m about to say. First, I think I’m not the only one that think that using an 8 year-old boy to face this bitch was the right think to do. I think if we want to show them how great parents we can be, we ought to have well-raised teens that can exemplify our arguments, such as Zach Walsh. So, as much as creepy this is for me, I agree with “Crazy Eyes” on this one. On what she loses me is when she says that there’s really no discrimination against us, cause in her moronic head she thinks we are all bounded by the same laws, cause of course she ain’t capable of understanding what it means to be homosexual, that it ain’t just about sex, it’s about the feelings we can have to one another of the same sex (call it love or whatever you wish). So, if she thinks that gays marrying people of the opposite sex is the only choice, just because Marcus “Lady Bird” Bachmann (her husband) did it, doesn’t mean it’s a choice for the rest of us. It ain’t safe, fair nor realistic for either of the spouses. Furthermore, does Glenn Beck said he has Gay friends? Is he on the GOProud’s Board and I missed it?Michele Bachmann Reacts To Encounter With Elijah, 8 Year-Old With Gay Mother, On Beck’s Show

USA: Young LGBT Activist Elijah Leaves Michele Bachmann Speechless
You know, although he might have wanted to do it at first, it just seems like he was pushed into the confrontation with that scary woman. It just seems wrong. His mom should’ve waited until he’s ready for it, like Zach Walsh.
RELATED: Dan Savage reacts to this in a cleaver and objective way:
As a Gay Parent…I’m really not comfortable with this.
Even if that eight-year-old kid wanted to do it, even if confronting Michele Bachmann was the kid’s idea, even if the kid was excited about being in a YouTube video… this just isn’t cool.
The enemies of LGBT equality use small children as props in their misleading commercials and at their hate rallies all the time. It’s a credit to our side that this sort of thing—a gay parent pushing a child into the face of a hater like Bachmann—is so rare that this video shocks the conscience.
We shouldn’t use our kids like this. Even if one of our kids wants to be used like this—even if our kid is a precocious little eight-year-old asskicker who want nothing more than to get all up in Michele Bachmann’s crazy face (and that’s not how this kid comes across)—we need to exercise sound parental judgment and tell our kids, “No, honey, not now. Maybe later.”
[Moron Of The Week Inductee] Michele Bachmann: Overturn Iowa Marriage Equality
The Advocate reports:
Rep. Michele Bachmann’s position against marriage equality has long been established. But press inquiries and impromptu debates with LGBT activists in recent days on the campaign trail have further served to articulate her position with the Iowa Caucus just weeks away.
Asked about the Iowa Supreme Court decision in 2009 striking down laws that bar marriage rights for same-sex couples, Bachmann told Fox News Sunday, “Marriage, historically, for all human history has been between a man and a woman. It hasn’t been the same-sex marriage,” Bachmann said. “And remember that in Iowa, it was judges that made the decision — not the legislature, which are the people’s representatives, and certainly, not the people.” (Video here.)
Confronted by a young gay rights advocate last week about her stance, Bachmann replied that gays and lesbians do have the civil right to marry — so long as their spouse is of the opposite sex.
CBS Deletes Letterman’s “Ex-Gay” Cracks About Marcus “Ladybird” Bachmann From Web
Joe.My.God. reports:
Last night David Letterman made some cracks about Michele Bachmann which included jabs at Ladybird: “And if you’re a homosexual, her husband will take care of ya. He’s got a thing, a camp or a clinic or something. And if you’re a homosexual and you feel you’re in the need of some special treatment or counseling, he’ll take care of you.” Towleroadreports that Letterman’s bit about Mr. Bachmann have been deleted from the web archive of the show. YouTube’s still got it, for now.
When Marcus “Ladybird” Bachmann Called The Gay Activist
Joe.My.God. reports:
Truth Wins Out reports that Ladybird Bachmann called one of their contributors to demand payment on two missed “ex-gay” reparative therapy sessions. Because even though the undercover patient’s cover was blown when the story went public, Ladybird wants to be paid. FromLadybird’s voicemail:
Hello John Becker, this is Doctor Marcus Bachmann (emphasis his); I received a message from our billing department asking if we would write off the two no-show fees for 7/7/11 and 7/12/11. We will not (emphasis his) be writing those off, so you do owe those no-show fees, and we would expect payment as soon as possible, otherwise we will have to turn it over to collections. If you have any questions you can call (651) 379-0444. Thank you.Somebody’s chiffon is definitely mussed!
